 Smile in Tears

If we meet today

If we meet today what will happen
I do not know
I still play this mind game day and night.

Perhaps dissolve into the scruffy details

Of credits and debits of the past
Of mentality shifts

Perhaps on the emotional ride.

Cross-stitch knitting of the threads
Of the luminous love and lust

Soar above and plunge down.

The blazing sun soaks the wet tips of grass
The silver moon drain the happy moments

The images of dead fish and wingless birds.

As if to walk on the rainy mountain slope
To forget the master key of the door

To run for safety in the forest fire.

I extend my lean hand in silence
What about you?

You write answer in an inkless pen.

If we meet today what will happen
I do not know
I still play this mind game day and night.
